Laptop Mode Tools allows you to control various power management settings based on AC/battery power state.
Among other things, it controls Linux's "Laptop Mode" feature that allows your hard drive to spin down for extended periods.
It can also control CPU frequency scaling and screen blanking timeouts
(both terminal and X). Laptop Mode Tools supports automatic hibernation
when battery is low.

Joy2TX is a simple application that demonstrates how to communicate
with a PC to TX interface, such as PCBUDDY or SC-8000RF and control an
RC device (UAV, airplane, robot, etc.) using PC with a Joystick. The
Joystick inputs are converted and send through serial port to the
interface. The basic application allows to control 3 channels using
X/Y/Z joystick axes, it is however very easy to enable the rest unused
channels and use some additional input devices such as rudder pedals or
a mouse.

gtklogger is a Python module for recording (capturing) and replaying a
session of a program with a graphical user interface written with
PyGTK. It was developed as part of OOF2, a program for computing the
properties of materials with complicated microstructures, but it can be
used with any PyGTK program. The gtklogger program is somewhat similar
in spirit to PyUseCase, but the implementation is very different.
